He was associate medical director for the largest managed care behavioral health network in the Desert Southwest and, as a university dean and vice president, he built one of the largest portfolio collections of competency-based graduate Nursing degrees in the United States. He is a NEI Master Psychopharmacologist and a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. The Point of Care Network proclaimed Josh to be America’s Top Psychiatric NP in 2021.
Dr. Ali, a double board-certified psychiatrist in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, specializes in complex neuropsychiatric disorders. As Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Tempus AI's neuropsychiatry division, he educates providers on precision medicine and pharmacogenomics, aiming to enhance the field with AI and machine learning tools. Clinically, he adopts a holistic approach, focusing on relationship dynamics and treating ADHD, anxiety, and substance use disorders. Dr. Ali trained at the State University of New York, where he completed a fellowship and served as Chief Fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He holds board certifications through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
