Melisa Tucker serves as the Chief Data Officer at Tempus AI, where she leads initiatives to acquire and harness multimodal data to advance patient care, research, and artificial intelligence. She brings deep expertise in health data and AI to the role, having previously led the Real-World Evidence business at Flatiron Health, an oncology data company acquired by Roche. Melisa also served as Chief Product Officer at Nym Health, an AI-enabled medical coding platform, and oversaw research products at Verily Life Sciences (part of Alphabet). Earlier in her career, she worked in early-stage venture capital and at McKinsey & Company. Melisa holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in Chemistry magna cum laude from Princeton University.

Dr. Toyoki Moribe is the Director of the Medical Strategy Department at GenMine Labs Corp. He brings over 10 years of experience in genetic diagnosis R&D, alongside more than 15 years in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries. Prior to joining GenMine Labs, he spearheaded medical strategic initiatives as the Head of Hematology Medical at Bristol Myers Squibb and Pfizer, overseeing products from pre-launch to post-launch phases. Additionally, he has led the discovery of novel genetic diagnostic markers and the development of in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) as a research scientist. Dr. Moribe holds a Master’s degree in Science from Nagoya University and a PhD in Medicine from Osaka University.

Shijun Jo is Head of Life Science Solution at SB TEMPUS, where he leads the delivery of multimodal real-world data and analytics services to pharmaceutical and life sciences companies in Japan. Prior to joining SB TEMPUS, he worked at ITOCHU Corporation, where he was responsible for sales of active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products to pharmaceutical companies, as well as new business development. He later joined CureApp, a digital therapeutics startup, where he led business partnerships with multiple pharmaceutical companies and, as Head of Overseas Business, drove product development and strategic partnerships for the U.S. market.

Shelley is a PhD-level computational biologist with a history in both academia and industry and a demonstrated ability to deliver valuable insights and action-oriented solutions to complex biological problems via bioinformatics, genomic data analysis, databases, software engineering, and advanced data-driven methods. Ultimately, she is driven by the goal of improving the lives of patients with cancer and other complex diseases through genomics and data analytics.
