Dr. Marc Matrana, a native of New Orleans, is a renowned medical oncologist at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center. He holds degrees in human genetics from Tulane University and earned his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine. With extensive training at Ochsner Medical Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Matrana specializes in lung, genitourinary, gastrointestinal cancers, and hematologic diseases. He's a prolific researcher, speaker, and educator, recognized globally for his expertise. Dr. Matrana is actively involved in medical education and leadership roles at local medical schools and fellowship programs.

Wade Iams, MD, MSCI is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and the Director of Thoracic Clinical Trials. Dr. Iams' primary research interests are thoracic clinical trial leadership and novel blood biomarker analysis in patients with lung cancer. He looks forward to continuing this work and keeping Vanderbilt at the leading edge of the field of blood biomarker development and clinical applications.

Dr. Cohen is a leading medical oncologist and cancer researcher who brings a unique combination of extensive clinical and research experience to Tempus’ leadership team. He was most recently the Chief of the Division of Hematology-Oncology as well as the Associate Director of Clinical Science at UC San Diego (UCSD) Moores Cancer Center. Dr. Cohen also led the Precision Immunotherapy Clinic and co-directed the San Diego Center for Precision Immunotherapy at UCSD. Before UCSD, Dr. Cohen spent 15 years at the University of Chicago, where he was the co-director of the Head and Neck Cancer Program as well as Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program Director.

Dr. Gary Grad, is a highly experienced medical oncologist and hematologist, who currently serves as a Medical Oncologist and Director of Medical Strategy at Tempus. With over 30 years of experience, including a distinguished tenure at Northwest Oncology & Hematology, Dr. Grad has focused on delivering personalized cancer care and advancing treatment through innovative solutions. He has contributed significantly to the development of real-time, data-driven approaches to cancer treatment, leveraging artificial intelligence and extensive clinical data. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Grad has served as a thought leader and strategic consultant for prominent pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, playing a pivotal role in shaping advancements in cancer therapeutics.
